The Tilley Timber Project

Cosy Hall 6 Water Ln, Chetwynd End, Newport, Shropshire

Talk: The Tilley Timber Project: Uncovering 500 years of timber framing This talk will be given by Professor George Nash, Archeologist and Specialist in Pre-historic and Contemporary Art. In one of the UK's largest tree ring-dating (dendrochronology) projects, 19 buildings in the hamlet of Tilley were surveyed.  Professor Nash explains the research techniques used and their findings.
