Talk on James Brindley – The Father of Canal Engineering

Please stay after the AGM for this fascinating talk by Shaun Farelly who is going to present James Brindley’s life.  James Brindley was a man who started as a millwright and became a canal engineer with an expertise for problem solving.  Newport has a long association with the canal system and this promises to give us an insight into its development.
