Talk: Controlled Metal-Detecting in the Wroxeter Hinterland

Dr Roger White is welcomed back following previous talks on the Roman city at Wroxeter.  This time he will focus on the work the History Society Field Group carried out on the Attingham Estate and will examine what it tells us about the management and history of that landscape.  It is an opportunity to think about the contribution metal detecting makes to our understanding of the past.
