The walk will be led by a member of the Gnosall Heritage Group around Gnosall village, starting at the Grosvenor Centre, and will look at properties of interest, including cottages dating back to 1500 and a Grade II listed thatched cottage built before the Civil War. We will also be visiting the sites of schools, the police station, an 1830’s Lock-Up and numerous Public Houses with tales of their intriguing past. We will arrive at the 11th Century church of St Lawrence for a genuinely good afternoon tea, during which, Norman Hailes will present an illustrated talk on the history of the Grade I listed church.
Pre-booking is essential to guarantee your afternoon tea!! (Places are limited)
