Heritage Trail

April 14th, 2010 in Newsletter

The Newport’s High Street Regeneration project has begun in June 2010 and this is an appropriate time for the members of the Society to create a Heritage Trail to our website, about a series of important historic buildings on Newport’s High Street. To show where the buildings are, the photos of them and why and how they are part of Newport’s heritage, click on this map.

The Society is attempting to arrange plaques on most of the important High Street buildings as part of the Regeneration project.
